It’s not your everyday cat cafe.
In fact, it’s not a traditional cat cafe at all- it’s a unique cat-centric concept that incorporates pet adoptions & handcrafted goods.
Our ultimate goal? To alleviate pressure at the animal shelter and find more homes for adoptable kitties. We’re focusing on shy, older, under-socialized cats or bonded pairs needing to be adopted together, and cats who have been at the shelter the longest. We’ve found that once these cats are removed from the shelter environment and able to wander our space at their leisure, they often no longer fit the description for a shy and under-socialized cat.

About the Owner
A lifelong cat enthusiast, Sarah Thomas is proud to bring Teddy Cat to her hometown of Denver, CO. Growing up with cats & basset hounds, she learned early on that animals are the key to happiness in this life. Cats or dogs, you ask? She takes no sides.
Sarah began volunteering at Denver Animal Shelter in 2020 near the beginning of the pandemic. She began fostering cats & kittens at home that same year. After 8 years working as a loan officer, she quickly realized that her volunteer work brought her more joy than any job she had ever had!
In search of a meaningful way to share her love of fostering cats with her community, she began working on a unique spin on the traditional cat cafe. A place where adoptables could show their true personalities outside of a shelter cage. In 2022, she took the leap and introduced Teddy Cat to the world. She continues her volunteer & fostering work with local animal rescues today and is proud to partner with them on this venture.

Meet Teddy
Teddy was Sarah’s first foster fail and the inspiration behind this concept. He enjoys sunbathing, antagonizing his kitty siblings, and hunting the occasional housefly.
He’s a total stud + has a tight hold on his mom’s heart.
